We are delighted to announce that the Pacific-Northwest Chinese Nurses Association (PCNA) is launching its inaugural scholarship program! This exciting initiative aims to support the growth and development of nursing students within our community. Thanks to the generous contribution from the SALAL Credit Union, we are able to award a $1000 scholarship to one outstanding applicant to assist them in their nursing education journey. Please note that the scholarship funds are unrestricted, meaning that the recipient will have the flexibility to allocate the funds towards their educational needs as they see fit.

Eligibility Requirement: - Applicants must be current members of PCNA. - Applicants must be currently enrolled as a nursing student in an accredited educational institution, regardless of academic level or specialty concentration (undergraduate, master, or doctoral level). Selection Process and Announcement: All scholarship applications will be carefully reviewed by the PCNA executive board, who will assess each submission based on its merits. The final recipient of the scholarship will be announced during the PCNA Annual Potluck event, which will take place on 8/12/2023 at the picturesque Lake Sammamish State Park. PCNA Membership Criteria: Membership in PCNA is a prerequisite for scholarship eligibility. To become a PCNA member, you must hold a RN license or currently enrolled as a nursing student in the U.S. Please note that pre-nursing students and accepted-nursing students before matriculation do not meet the minimal requirement. The annual membership fee is $25 for students, $50 for non-students, and $300 for lifetime members.
