Jingyi Li, PhD, MN, RN
Education · Research · Leadership

VICE PRESIDENT
Ting-Chun (Addison) Lin, BSN, RN
Jingyi Li is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing and Healthcare Leadership at the University of Washington Tacoma, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate nursing courses. She earned her BSN from Seattle Pacific University and her MN in Nursing Education and PhD in Nursing Science from the University of Washington. With more than ten years of nursing experience, she has held clinical, educational, and administrative roles serving older adults, including work in skilled nursing and assisted living, dementia care education, and nursing leadership. Her research interests include the development and implementation of community-engaged brain wellness programs, as well as interventions to support dementia care dyads. As President of PCNA, Jingyi hopes to advance the organization’s mission by strengthening professional connections among Chinese nurses, expanding opportunities for mentorship and continuing education, supporting nursing students and early-career nurses in their academic and professional development, and creating more opportunities for members to share expertise, collaborate, and contribute to the communities they serve.

VICE PRESIDENT
Wen Xu, BSN, RN
School Nursing · Mentorship

I currently work as a school nurse in an elementary school. I earned my BSN from Bellevue College and my ADN from Shoreline Community College. Before moving to the United States in 2013, I practiced internal medicine in Shanghai. Since then, I’ve worked in pediatric home intensive care, long-term care, and immunization, and I’ve also served as a NAC instructor.
Nursing has given me the flexibility and opportunity to explore many areas of care. As a PCNA member, I’ve seen our community grow and our influence expand. I believe every member’s experience is a valuable resource, and sharing those experiences helps us build a stronger support network. As PCNA Vice President, I’m committed to listening to our members and turning their feedback into meaningful action. To me, this role is about service, not a title.
Yuting Lin is an Assistant Professor at Seattle University. She graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Nursing and previously worked at Renji Hospital in Shanghai as a floor nurse and preceptor. She later completed her PhD at the University of Washington. Her research interests include simulation in nursing education, reflective practice, and the use of AI in predicting fall risks in patients with Parkinson’s disease. Yuting has served PCNA for years, and she hopes to support Chinese nurses by sharing information and perspectives on nursing education, program applications, and career development. She is also passionate about encouraging more Chinese nurses to explore opportunities in academia, education, research, and clinical practice.
As Treasurer, Yuting will oversee PCNA’s financial operations, including budgeting, financial recordkeeping, reimbursements, and financial reporting, while helping ensure responsible and transparent use of the organization’s resources. She is grateful for the support she has received from the PCNA community over the years and looks forward to giving back and contributing to its continued growth.
Hello, I’m Addison. I was born in Taiwan and graduated from Seattle Pacific University’s BSN program. I currently work as a nurse consultant at the Chinese Information and Service Center (CISC) in Seattle. I primarily serve Chinese-speaking older adults, reviewing medical records, in-home care needs, and service plans. Before joining CISC, I worked in hospitals, long-term care, and community clinics in Taiwan and the United States.
I care deeply about making health information easier to understand and helping people find the resources they need. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I took part in Chinese-language vaccine education and volunteered to raise funds for protective equipment for U.S. hospitals. These experiences strengthened my appreciation for opportunities to connect with fellow Chinese nurses and serve our communities together.
I’m honored to serve as PCNA’s Vice President. I hope to draw on my clinical and community service experience to help members exchange professional experiences, share useful resources, and raise awareness of the contributions Chinese nurses make to our communities. I look forward to learning alongside everyone and continuing to serve our communities.
